Crisis Management

Crisis management is a key element of public safety, encompassing both preventative actions and immediate response to threats. Floods, fires, prolonged droughts, or fuel infrastructure failures can paralyze the functioning of regions, businesses, and even entire sectors of the economy. Lack of access to basic resources, such as drinking water, fuel, or flood control measures, can lead to serious consequences for health, society, and the economy.

Therefore, appropriate planning and storage of necessary reserves is crucial, allowing for quick and effective action in emergency situations. For this purpose, modern technologies are used, such as flexible tanks for storing drinking water, which enable the safe storage of large quantities of water, ready for use at any time. Such solutions ensure continuity of supply and minimize the risk of interruptions in the functioning of critical infrastructure.

Properly planned crisis management systems allow not only to respond to sudden situations but also to effectively prevent them, increasing the resilience of communities and businesses to unforeseen events.

How many liters of drinking water per person does a community need during a crisis situation?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the minimum drinking water requirement in crisis situations is 15 liters per person per day. In the event of a water supply network failure in a city of 100,000 residents, this means the need to secure at least 1.5 million liters of water daily. Flexible drinking water storage tanks are an effective solution that allows for quick and efficient collection of necessary reserves, ensuring access to water in emergency situations.

Portable water tanks

The self-supporting, open form of the Hydronion flexible tank does not require permanent connection to the ground or any additional support structures. The open design provides a number of benefits, including faster filling and emptying. The appropriate height when full enables the replenishment of firefighting tanks suspended from helicopters using the Hydronion. The tank is equipped with 4 flange connections ending with Storz 110 type couplings, making it possible for multiple units to fill and draw water simultaneously. The tanks are available in the following capacities: 8 m³, 15 m³, and 25 m³. It is also possible to design and manufacture a Hydronion tank according to individual needs.

Flexible tanks for storing drinking water

Waterbase D is a line of flexible tanks for the safe storage of drinking water. All components that come into contact with water have international certifications, including PZH certification.

The tanks are a key element of civil protection systems, providing access to drinking water during crisis situations, infrastructure failures, or evacuations. They work well both for creating water supply points for affected populations and as strategic reserves for emergency situations.

Tanks with a capacity of up to 15000 l weigh a maximum of 105 kg, which allows them to be carried by three people. When folded, they take up minimal space – the volume of an empty tank does not exceed 250 liters, making it possible to transport smaller models in the trunk of a passenger car.

Main product features:

  • Has PZH certification for contact with drinking water
  • Made from materials free of Bisphenol A
  • Assembly without tools in up to 30 minutes
  • Resistant to UV radiation and temperatures down to -30°C
  • Made of durable technical fabric with polyester mesh and PVC coating
  • Welded using high frequency (HF) technology
  • 5 years warranty
  • Possibility to manufacture tanks custom-sized
  • Polish manufacturer and service

    Flood protection barriers

The Exflooder flexible barrier is a specialized civil protection measure, providing quick and effective flood protection. Compared to traditional sandbags, it offers significantly higher efficiency while simplifying crisis logistics.

We produce the flood prevention sleeve from a three-layer PVC fabric with a weight of 900 g/m², which ensures high resistance to mechanical damage and exceeds the standards used in similar products. To maintain protection effectiveness, we recommend installing the barrier on level ground, free from sharp objects that could damage the material.

The barrier’s design allows for quick installation in threatened areas – simply unfold the product and fill it with water, without the need for additional elements. After the operation is complete, the barrier can be quickly dismantled and folded to compact dimensions, which significantly facilitates its transport and storage in emergency warehouses.

    Fuel Storage Tanks

The Exflo Fuelbase tank is a specialized solution in the civil protection system, ensuring continuity of fuel supply during crisis situations. It enables immediate response in case of fuel infrastructure failures or when establishing strategic fuel storage points is necessary.

The tank’s design allows for safe storage of various types of fuels, including diesel, gasoline, aviation fuels like JP-8, Jet A-1, and naval fuel type F (NATO F-75). To ensure maximum safety, the tank is installed in a dedicated spill containment basin, which serves as additional protection. The product meets rigorous international standards MIL-T-52983G and MIL-PRF-32233C.

It is made of technical fabrics coated with polyurethane (TPU), specially adapted for storing liquid fuels. Its unique design, without external corners reinforced with screws, minimizes the risk of leakage.

The tank is equipped with external handles for easy installation and durable flange connections for efficient filling and emptying. It is available in standard “tan” color (light brown), with the possibility of customization to individual requirements. The product is available for both civilian services and military crisis management units.

Why is flexibility so important in crisis management?

The flexible Exflo tank with a capacity of 10 m³, which when folded fits in the trunk of a small passenger car, can hold as much as 10 standard IBC containers. This compact and convenient solution facilitates the transport and storage of large quantities of liquid without taking up unnecessary space.

One Exflo barrier with dimensions of 1 m × 0.5 m × 0.4 m when deployed can replace over 250 sandbags, creating an effective flood wall. This is a modern and quick solution that saves time, space, and effort when securing an area against water.
