1. Do flexible firefighting tanks have the required certificates?▼
Yes, every product of ours holds an official CNBOP certificate of approval number 4983/2023. This guarantees full safety and allows the system to be seamlessly used by State Fire Service units.
2. How durable are flexible firefighting tanks?▼
These structures are manufactured from specialized PVC-coated technical fabric with a weight of up to 1300 g/m². As a result, the tank can be exposed to harsh weather conditions without issue for at least a decade, maintaining extremely high resistance to mechanical damage. 3. Can firefighting tanks be damaged by wild animals or pests?▼
In our experience to date, we have not recorded a single such incident. The rigorous strength parameters of the fabric ensure that the outer shell easily withstands contact with wildlife or livestock. As a rule, animals naturally avoid structures of this type.
4. How should the ground be prepared for a fire tank?▼
The site for the tank should be leveled and cleared of sharp objects. We recommend using a sand bed for better cushioning and heat distribution. Ground foundation requirements are specified in the product datasheet.
5. Can the water stored in a firefighting tank freeze in winter?▼
Thanks to advanced, automatic heating mats equipped with temperature sensors, fully safe, year-round operation of the system is possible. This solution guarantees keeping the water in liquid form even during harsh winter conditions.
6. How long does it take to install a flexible water tank, and is the process complicated?▼
The installation process is relatively simple and can be completed by a few people within 2–3 hours.
7. How is the heating mat connection process safely performed?▼
The heating mats must be connected by a qualified electrician with appropriate certifications.
8. Are flexible firefighting tanks resistant to extreme weather conditions, such as low temperatures, strong winds, or rain?▼
Yes, this has been confirmed by laboratory tests conducted by CNBOP-PIB (temperature resistance), among others. The tank and its cover are made of high-quality European components, allowing us to provide a 10-year warranty with continuous exposure to the weather conditions typical for this part of Europe.
9. How does the process of draining water from the tank work?▼
The tank can be inflated with air for drying or cleaning purposes. Remaining water and debris can be extracted from the tank by inserting a suction hose into the flange opening (without a strainer). Further information can be found in the product datasheet.
10. How much water remains in the tank after it is drained?▼
After draining, only a small amount of water remains in the tank—depending on the size, ranging from a dozen to several dozen liters.
11. What are the transport and storage options for a flexible water tank?▼
The tank fits on a pallet (depending on the size, either a Euro-pallet or an industrial pallet). Once emptied of water, it can be transported and reinstalled at any location.
12. How much electricity does the tank heating consume?▼
During the spring-autumn season (May–October), the system does not need to be turned on. In standby mode (“standby”), it consumes approximately 22–36 kWh per month. In active heating mode, consumption varies depending on the ambient temperature.
