After entering the phrase “spill containment berms” in the search engine, you will see a whole range of products made of various materials. Is it possible to use a tub made of stainless steel, polyethylene or made of “flexible” technical fabric for the storage of hazardous substances?

What capacity should the spill containment berm have? Unfortunately, the answer to this question is “it depends”. The legal status in Poland regarding the safe storage of hazardous substances is still ambiguous in this respect. In the following article I will explain where this ambiguity comes from and what determines the capacity of the berm.
